Citra Cryo, Comet & Nectaron Collaboration with Tin Barn Brewing

Established two centuries after the Common, Boston's Public Garden became the first public botanical garden in America in 1837. Located in the heart of our city, it's a key piece of the Emerald Necklace and features many of Boston's iconic sights such as the Swan Boats and the Make Way for Ducklings statues. Presenting a sunny, honey-yellow color, Public Garden utilizes Mosaic and Strata to conjure a fairly complex bouquet of aromas. Tropical notes of candied pineapple and juicy mango lead the way, with underlying tones ranging from bright citrus, canned peach, cantaloupe, and a soft, woody earthiness adding intrigue to each sip. Dry and gently bitter, Public Garden finishes medium-bodied and easy-drinking.

The Emerald Necklace series tells a foundational piece of the Trillium Brewing story. If you’ve visited our home of Boston, you’ve likely encountered and enjoyed a section of the Emerald Necklace. Beginning downtown at the Boston Common and Public Garden, extending out to Back Bay, and all the way to Dorchester, this 1,100 acre, seven-mile-long public park system is a cherished green oasis in the heart of the city. Years ago, JC cultivated a plot in the Fenway Victory Gardens, where he grew edible and decorative plants, trees, and even some hop bines! The second beer in the series takes us to The Riverway, a 34-acre park that serves as a border between Boston and neighboring Brookline. Dual-hopped with two favorites from the Pacific Northwest, Citra and Mosaic each display their distinct tropical traits. We taste orange sherbet, meyer lemon, and juicy peach. A gentle sweetness that never nears cloying is embraced by a refined bitterness rounding out each sip.

Our flagship American IPA highlights the distinctively aromatic Australian Galaxy hop. The nose bursts with pine, citrus rind, melon and pineapple. Pronounced flavors of peach, clementine, and tropical fruits are accentuated with moderate bitterness and balanced by a light, biscuity malt character.

Golden Ale

We made this beer in honor of a dear friends of ours, whom we lost suddenly. She loved our Falcon Punch & Michelob Ultra, so we made this crushable hoppy Blonde as an in between both beers. "I Love your whole face" was what she said to everyone before she left.

Classically brewed with thick portions of boiled Moravian malt and plentiful amounts of traditional Saaz hops for an authentic Bohemian flavor. The "Bublina" or bubbles in this beer are best experienced in Tubinger tankards from Czech side-pull faucets.

Cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla with a fresh pressed cider backbone. Come for the apples stay for the donut.

Schlaumeier (“smart aleck”) is a flavorful straw-colored Bavarian specialty wheat ale. Yeast-driven notes of banana and clove define this traditional delicacy.

Two Lights is an ode to two of the more refreshing drinks of summer: cold beer and sparkling wine. While brewing this beer, we add sauvignon blanc must—the freshly pressed juice of the grapes. Then we ferment it with both lager and champagne yeast to create a tart, crisp, and dry profile. The finished beer’s aromas of pear, grape, and light hops pair with a flavor profile that’s a mix of tropical fruit and the snappy spritz of a freshly picked grape. We suggest sipping Two Lights by a water source too large to see across.

Our Double IPA features the explosive combination of Citra and Mosaic hops, bursting with tropical and citrus flavors and a delightfully bold hop character.

This glittered sour ale with fruity cereal mashed in, brings slightly tart sour, a bouquet of fruits & a hint of biscuit. A collaboration between DuClaw Brewing Co. and Diablo Doughnuts.

With a wonderful floral aroma, well-balanced malt sweetness, crisp hop bitterness, and a soft dry finish.

Smithwick's is a clear beer with a rich ruby color and creamy head. Clean and delicate aroma with different individual notes: from the top fermentation by the Smithwick yeast come aromatic esters creating a fruity aroma. Ale Malt contributes aroma hints of biscuit and caramel. Refreshing and clean taste with sweet/malty notes from the ale malt, and hints of roast/coffee from the roasted barley.

Jai Alai IPA is a bold, citrusy and balanced India Pale Ale that involves six different hop varietals used generously.
